int sds_trans (const sds_point point, const struct sds_resbuf *from, const struct sds_resbuf *to, int disp, sds_point answer);

Translate this point from one coordinate system to another.

This function translates (moves) a point from to another coordinate system.

The point argument is a 3-D point in list format. The meaning of this argument depends on the setting of from and to.

The from argument describes the current coordinate system. The to argument describes the destination coordinate system, using the same codes as from. Unlike the LISP version of the trans function, the from and to hold other arguments:

    • Entity Name (RTENAME) specifies the Entity Coordinate System used by the entity.
    • 3D Extrusion Vector (RT3DPOINT) is a 3-D displacement vector.
    • Integer Code (RTSHORT) is another form of displacement vector, as described below:

Code Coordinate System
0 World coordinate system (WCS).
1 Current user-defined coordinate system (UCS).
2 Display coordinate system ( DCS) of current viewport-with code 0 or 1. DCS of current model space viewport-with code 3.
3 Paper space DCS.

This function returns RTNORM or an error code in system variable ERRNO.
