sds_ssname

int sds_ssname (const sds_name setname, long index, sds_name entity-name);

Get the nth object from this set.

This function gets the name of an object, given the selection set name and the index for the item.

The argument setname is the selection set from which you want to get the object.

The argument index represents the object from the set. The first item is #0, the second item is #1. Use the sds_sslength function to first determine the number of items in the selection set, and then subtract 1 to get the highest index number. Since there may be more than 65,535 items in the selection set, this argument is a long integer.

The entity-name argument represents the name of the object at the position index in the set.

This function returns RTNORM or an error code.

Example

int returni;

long setlen,index;

char string1[512];

sds_name entnameX,setname1;

while (index < setlen){

returni=sds_ssname(setname1,index,entnameX);

if (returni != RTNORM)

sds_getstring(0,"\nNot able to find the object. ",string1);

else{

sds_redraw(entnameX,3); // Highlights the object.

index++;

}

}
