Print - Advanced tab

Use this tab to specify additional options for printing, including: print style tables, headers and footers, print offset and orientation, printer configuration files, and lineweight options.

You can save your selections for the current layout (or Model tab).

Layout Name Displays either “Model” or the layout name to which the print settings apply.

Use Settings Select Current Layout to print using settings from the current model or layout, or select Previous Print to print using settings from the last time you printed.

Save Changes to Layout Select to save the print settings for the current model or layout.

Print Style Table (Pen Assignments) Select a print style table from the list if you want to change how your drawing appears when you print it. Print style tables can modify how colors, pen widths, linetypes, and lineweights look when they are printed. Click Edit to modify the selected print style table using the Print Style Table Editor dialog box. Click New to create a new print style table using the Add Print Style Table wizard.

Printer Configuration File Click Save to save the current print settings to a printer configuration file that you can reuse with other drawings or users. Click Open to select a printer configuration file, which loads and assigns its print settings to the current model or layout.

Print Offset Select whether to center the print area on the page or to specify a custom point of origin. Center on Page positions the print area on the center of the printed paper. You can specify a custom point of origin by entering the x- and y-coordinates or by clicking Select Origin to select the origin point in the drawing.

Print Upside Down Select to print the drawing upside down on your printer.

Print Lineweights Select to print entities with their assigned lineweights.

Scale Lineweights Select to print lineweights in proportion to the scale you set on the Scale/View tab. If not selected, lineweights print at their assigned size without adjustments for the print scale. (A Layout tab must be active to scale lineweights.)
