Shortcut: Ctrl+P

Alias: PLOT

Displays the Print dialog box so you can print the current drawing. You can print your drawing on any Windows-compatible printer or plotter.

Before you print, you can set up many aspects of printing. You can save the following print settings with the drawing on the Model tab, or with a layout on a Layout tab:

  • Specify the view and scale of a printed drawing, including which portion of a drawing to print, the print scale, and the origin of the print area.
  • Use print style tables to control color, pen width, virtual pen width, linetype, and lineweight.
  • Choose whether to print and scale lineweights.
  • Open printer configuration (PCP) files; create and save PCP files.
