Plan View

Toolbar: View > Plan View ()

Menu: View > Plan View

Keyboard: PLAN

Experience Level: Intermediate

Places the display in Plan View (viewpoint 0,0,1) relative to either the active user coordinate system (UCS), a specified UCS, or the World Coordinate System. The Plan View command affects only the view in the current viewport; coordinates that you enter after you enter Plan View remain relative to the current UCS. The Plan View command does not function when you are using paper space.

In the current UCS, the Plan View command displays the plan view of your model so that it completely fills the current viewport.

In a previously saved UCS, the Plan View command redisplays the previous plan view.

In a World Coordinate System, the Plan View command redisplays the plan view so that it completely fills the World Coordinate System display.
